is there any way to recover an accidentally dropped database.
Damn phpmyadmin and its ease of use.
i accidentally deleted my entire database thinking that i was only just getting rid of a single table

    how can i get back

i have no back-ups or any thing

is there a reliable way of getting my hard work back

any help on this would be hugely appreciated

    thanks

    Where are you hosted?
Contact your hosting provider in order to get any old backup they have of your account.

Without some form of backups you may be out of luck. Just a shot in the dark, but if it's a Windows server does it have the restore point stuff setup on it? I don't even know if that exists anymore, but I do recall seeing it years ago on Windows XP.

Definitely, I recommend do an SQL Dump every night then either RSYNC to another server or better yet Crashplan. but *epic hugs* I feel your pain I really do.

windows server does not come with system resore if thats what youre talking about.only windows for home end and office computers comes with system restore.

personally I dont use godaddy for renting dedicated servers you can get more bang for you're buck if you host directly with datacenters like ovh, hetzner and leaseweb also most of these datacenters provides you with a additional 100gb external ftp space for backing up nessecary data like sql databases etc.just my 2 cents
