Big bang was not the beginning of time

The below is not my post, it was interesting , so i pasted it here.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

I was very happy to read this. Often times I have read that big bang was the beginning of time and therefore we should not ask what happened before big bang, because there was no 'before'. But, it never seemed believable.

According to two physicists (from Cambridge and Princeton universities), there is neither a beginning nor an end of time. They say the current model of the universe is flawed.

That model starts with the beginning of time and the so-called Big Bang. The universe then cools and expands, and then in the distant future it will cool to the point when no stars are formed and normal matter breaks down. But the expansion is speeding up, and the current model does not seem to adequately explain why this is happening.

The scientists claim their new model can account for this and other things that are difficult to explain. They say the universe is undergoing an endless series of Big Bangs, expansions, contractions and big crunches. There is no end of time and no need to define what existed before the universe was born.

I personally think that time is infinite in the sense that it will continue whether humans exist or not. Even if everything on this planet were to become extinct tomorrow, time would not cease, though our perception of it would.

The thing that boggles me about time is dealing with the issue of whether it is more connected to our perception, or is it merely a non-physical entity that continues regardless. I don't think time was "born" during the Big Bang. The reason for this is because if time started at the moment of the Big Bang, which was billions of years ago, there would have been a time "before the big bang." But who knows?

If there is no time before bigbang, How can the time start after big bang.

Nothing Comes from Nothing., There should be something to initiate something.,
So i tend to think that big bang is rubbish.,
But at the same time this brings the debate of do gods exist,

    As per Lord krishna
"Everything That has a beginning has an end".,
and "Every action has an equal reaction" (Also shared by newton)

The Big Bang is accepted as the creator of the universe on faith by science.

If it's accepted simply on faith then it's not good science. And it is called a theory for a reason. What does theory mean?

    From dictionary.com:

    the‧o‧ry  /ˈθiəri, ˈθɪəri/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[thee-uh-ree, theer-ee] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
    –noun, plural -ries.
    1. a coherent group of general propositions used as principles of explanation for a class of phenomena: Einstein's theory of relativity.
    2. a proposed explanation whose status is still conjectural, in contrast to well-established propositions that are regarded as reporting matters of actual fact.

When was the last time you heard christianity called the "God Theory"?

Who said that we are not an experiment from another life form in another galaxy. Seeing as it takes 200 years traveling at the speed of light to reach the end of out galaxy , we won't know in our life time.

When's the last time you heard a scientist say they believed something?

The Big Bang is called a theory but it's accepted as "known" by much of the scientific community. They accept it as true based on faith despite the lack of conclusive evidence. If you want to see if a scientist is religious in their view of the big bang just try to question it.

exactly. you have no idea and you can't prove it one way or another. Any attempt at proving where the dog came from is purely speculative and based on faith.

Notice Kalvin said "The God" opposed to "God". That's a totally separate identifier. There is a significant difference between "God" and "a god".
