...Or at least that's what they told the participants of their sick new experiment.

Microsoft told some people that they were releasing a new software, called "Mojave".

They told the participants this was a new platform that was supposed to be way better than vista, the participants tried it out and were amazed. In the end, Microsoft told them that the actual program that they used was the original vista, the participants were shocked.

    Read more about it here.

It's hilarious how people criticize vista and in the end end up liking it.

I'vehad vista since it came out. It's ok, but I hate how everything has to be in administrator mode, and sometimes stuff has to be deleted in safe mode and such. Like I can't even delete fonts in regular mode for some reason.

Interesting article, but my experience of Vista is very negative. From non existent drivers, inexplicable crashes, incompatibility with Microsoft software, exhaustive boot times and so on. My next PC will definitly be a Mac.

vista is the future and we cannot deny it...

MS has stopped delivering XP and hence some day or the other vista has to be used by us...

    unfortunate but TRUE!!

Yeah i dont mind vista i dont see why people keep bitching about it, just learn to use it and disable all its annoying features and its fine. Except all the incompatibility issues.

And I know alot of windows users who bash mac and have never used it.

I use both Vista and XP in a corporate environment and have to support machines on these platforms, Vista is a dud and is terrible to work with. It doesnt even play nice with other new MS products, sharepoint 2007 for example.

Try installing printers as you would in a normal corporate environment, Vista cant even find them properly.
What about network drives, they are constantly dropping off all the time, and yes ALL Vista fixes, patches and reg hacks have been tried and tested. I for one would be quite happy to never see Vista again.

I can imagine those people felt pretty stupid! If this marketing campaign takes off, though, it could be a good thing for MS.
