Big Adsense Earners , do you share what you do with friends or You keep it secret?

This is only for People making more than $300 / month with adsense , i would like to know if you share what you do with your relatives , friends , gf , etc etc , or you prefer to keep this a secret ..

I have tried to get a lot of people involved with adsense, so yes. But most of the time, I don't go into details.

 

I have helped several friends become web publishers. I have helped other friends monetize their web sites or improve the monetization of their web sites.

I tend to select people as friends who have IQ's 3-4 standard deviations above average. As such, most of my friends would benefit greatly from being self-employed in a field were intelligence is a major factor in earnings success.

Most of them, however, have interests and desires which make them uninterested in web publishing for money. One does not like to write. Another sees the web as too low-brow. A third does not want to limit his hobby time.

In general, very few people have the attitude required to become successful web publishers. As with most things in life, attitude is more important than aptitude.

15k/month. Very nice. I do tell my friends how I earn my money through adsense because a lot of them think you are a loser since you dont go to a "real" job. Once they understand the concept and see you are making good money and can take a day off whenever you want, they change their minds.

I do help people who talk to me on MSN and AIM even though IM not that big of an earner but increasing

 

I tell people ball park figures if they ask, but conversations normally end with "I still don't understand how you make money".

 

I tried to tell some people how to start and develop the site, but failed to explain that the main factor is GOOD SITE, and Adsense income will come automatically.

I would not normally class my self as a big earner, but I do more than $300 a month with adsense - I have tried to advise others of the income potential but the longer in the tooth I become the less I say.

$100 a day is my goal - but I think a big earner is 8-10 K a month really

I stay in a country where awareness for adsense is just building up. I make a living with internet technologies and I deal with customers hands-on. In fact, I once handled a customer who asked me to teach him how to make money with adsense! He even go as far as buying adsense ebooks off the net!

The problem is, he is in it just for the money. He saw the seller put up large adsense earnings and was lured into the game. The fact is, he didn't even know how to put up a simple HTML web page!

However, I do find it a pleasure to share with like-minded web owners who find joy in creating something of value on the internet. So, it's still a yes for me. I like sharing

People are resistent to the idea.
Seems strange.
There's a lot more people think the web is only for chat & email.
It does seem difficult to explain, and I'm not sure why

well, luckily not everyone tries to make money online. Would be even more spam and MFA sites everywhere and more competition

Thats an IQ that ranges from 145-160 which is quite rare

Anyway, the key to making money is getting good links and good SEO. Dont underestimate the links though.

Making money with Adsense really comes down to mastering the search engines if anything.

Search engine traffic tends to generate the highest CTR and be the most stable and cost efficient versus other traffic sources.

And you have to keep trying different methods till you find something that works.

 

I don't believe high IQ's are required. In my view, you just need to put in the hours, think and dream of new ideas, and try out these new ideas.

 

The only thing that is making me angry, is the growing number of crappy spam websites, that offer "free information" and "best 4 websites". As a shareware author, I market my utility and trying to ban all this shitty sites,
caused by some ppl with iq below the ground.

 

I wouldn't consider myself a big earner either (make more than $300/month), but I was telling several people about it. None of them really wanted to get into it. I think they just don't understand it. But it's not that easy either to make over 10k a month. You have to be in the zone as often as possible.

And yes, I do believe that you have to be rather intelligent to success in this field - meaning whoever can't even figure out how people make money on the net and why somebody would want to pay them... You have to understand the whole system in order to exploit it.
