I've been using bidvertiser for a couple of days, I had no revenue the first couple of days so I figured, hey maybe it takes time. But as of today I've decided to let them go. Since I started using them, my account is showing I served 15k ad impressions and earned an unbelievable amount.....2cents. Yes, that's right, there was no typo 2CENTS!!! I was using 2 ad blocks on my site(music/entertainment with lot of contents) , it gets about 1500-2000 visitors a day and 5k-6k impressions a day with more than 85% from the US. Now I'm going to give bidvertiser the benefit of the doubt and say my niche was terrible, but I feel even the worst of the worst should be making more than that. I've included a picture of my report. Feel free to give your take on bidvertiser and recommend another ad network worth trying. I didn't use their ad slider nor their pop under since I thought that would have driven away visitors.
@nitreb you probably sent really bad traffic. 15k imps and no clicks. Not their fault you didnt make any money.
yes, they do pay only when someone clicks on their ads. They are not a CPM network. @nitreb, you should really look for a pure CPM network.
As an update, I started making money with them, though it's still low, it's a lot better than before. I'm also trying some other ad networks, and so far bidvertiser is my best option.
Sometimes it can take several days for earnings to settle. The reason for this is because they serves some third party CPA ads in addition to their standard PPC ads.
Just updating the post, I originally went off on how bad bidvertiser is, but after trying several campaigns, I have to say bidvertiser is my option. I tried CPA lead, never got any conversions which meant no money. I tried infolinks(banners, not inlink ads), made less than bidvertiser. I tried Chitika, and that's when I realize bidvertiser was by far my best options because I was getting very little click. I'm sticking with bidvertiser for now, might give adsense a try down the road when I have a lot more visitors. Anyone reading this to find out what network is best for their site, my advice would be to try as many as possible for 3+ days each (more time if it's a CPA network), and then decide.
I completely agree I say this often that not all network work same for everyone and best way to find good network is testing for few days and contacting support to see what best rate you can get for your traffic, I do this all the time
How to stop popups and other extra ads which are they are forcefully applying on my website, I put code for only a leaderboard and a wide skyscapper.
On your main account page "Bidvertiser Center", click on 'Preferences', a pop up should come up. Now select 'No' for 'Display Pop-Under Ads' and 'Display Slider Ads'. By the way, when I first tried disabling them, the pop up window wouldn't open, so if nothing comes up, you might want to try it in a different browser.
