Bidvertiser - does it take a while to kick in?

Just started with Bidvertiser. Added the code 24 hours ago. Around 10,000 impressions later only 3 clicks. Not so impressive. Looks like most of the ads are empty, you know "Your Ad Here" instead of a real ad. Does it take a while to kick in?

What did you give them as your site's niche?

It's a relationships niche. Lots of ads listed under Ads Status - I haven't declined any yet. Geotargeting might be limiting what I can see from my location at the moment. But only 3 clicks, that's not very credible unless something needs to kick in.

In all honesty I have to second Mark's comments. Just search the term here on DP and see what the general overallconsensuswas with Bidvertiser. Let that be your guide.

I saw a few positive comments about Bidvertise. But if my early results are any indication then CTR must be in well under 1%, like quite close to 0%.

already tried bidvertiser before. it has very low CTR because most of the ads are irrelevant. They still need lots of advertisers.

Maybe the approved ads need to be pruned to increase CTR. I see lots of crap like gambling and pharma in the default list of approved ads. I'm going to decline a large fraction of the advertisers since they are way off target and little chance my visitors will click. Then I'll give it another 24 hours and see if there is a reasonable increase in CTR.

Good luck..in your testing of this service but if you don't have the advertisers or the content to drive clicks why bother?
