I just bought this domain yesterday, I thought it was super cool and Bid-oodle is so fun to say ha.

I think i may turn it into a Auction type site and i think it'd be very productive since its a brandable name and so fun to say.

It used to have a high pr my tool said and has tons of link backs (current its a pr of 0, i don't know if this will go up again as soon as google realised its on line again, i bought a recently expired domain before and as soon as google knew it was online it had all of its pagerank back)

So what do you guys think about Bidoodle.com?

I like it:D You're right, it is fun to say and your logo is eyecatching. Auction site makes perfect sense with the "bid" in the name.

when i first saw it i thought bi-doodle too.
I thought maybe it was some weird freaky sex site..

I don't know why the previous owners just let it expire, but i wish i would have gotten to it before the pagerank expired or whatever as well :p more fun though.

I wanted the logo to be eye catching and colorful. I original planed on green because lime green looks silly on light blue and I wanted the font to be kinda doodlely and friendly and not too serious but at the same time not too cartoonish.
I think this font looks like but i was looking for an other. You'd think its be easier to find a good font when you download like 5000 fonts but it just makes it harder ha.

I put some blue on the logo text because lime is too bright and can mess with people's eyes and head.
I create that guy in photoshop, He has his hand up sayin "I PLACE MY BID!" hah.
I always went to auctions when i was little and people scratched their nose to place bids, I couldn't get something like that to look right :p

I'm looking for free open source auction scripts to start out with .So far i haven't found any that are of quality but I'm sure some exist.

thanks for the opinions so far :)
