I would like to invite you to submit your websites to this new bid link directory : BidLadder - bid for position link directory ! It is new but don't let this drive you away since this one will be promotoed through free templates I submit to various free templates websites and since my templates get 400+ downloads in couple of days and I have couple that got 10k+ and even 17k+ downloads exposure, traffic and PR will be there over time for sure ! As a bonus I will review each website submitted to the directory ( 300 words ) and publish it on bidladder blog ! This way I will make sure that SE visitors will come to the website over time also. mikey considering number of downloads of my free templates from oswd.org , openwebdesign.org and opendesigns.org ( lately I even started working on WP themes but those don't get so much attention that xhtml ones does ) where I have templates that get 10k+ and 17k+ downloads and 500 in couple of days I would say that there will be good traffic, exposure and PR5 or PR6 in half year I have done this in the past I also already spent more than $200 for promotion and will continue to do so in the future. Well I didn't say high traffic but good traffic Good traffic for directory I would say is anything above 300 visitors a day Keep in mind that bidladder is one day old and traffic will only kick in after some time when templates are approved and google gets directory indexed. As I see the thing with bid directories is that only highest bidders will receive traffic ( At least I only click and check first three or four ) but PR is placed among all websites in the directory after time. As we know directories are long-term thing. I had many dirs but sold all of them and started only digidagi.com and bidladder.com for long-term relationship I saw what I did wrong and why earlier I never got traffic other than webmasters. This seems to be changing now hehe.... I decided to make one regular and one bid directory now since it is kind of low for dir business later but I believe than in year or two when all trash is gone they will come out stronger than ever ...

Actually I don't understand people why they want wordpress templates with their links there since xhtml/css templates are much more used and converted to all kind of cms systems and not just wp ones I got one template converted to drupal and traffic was just huge. I guess people are just afraid that links will be gone(that's why they encode it on WP). Sure, some people delete links in the footer but majority just leave those there. This way I get tons of .edu and other links free. Drupal and xhtml not WP guys. This is just a little hint for those that read this topic of mine
