Bidding For Death - Google Condones Violence

Discussion in 'Google' started by Sem-Advance, Apr 17, 2007.

It seems Google has no problem allowing evil to be done. They have allowed large corporations to bid on keyword terms related to the senseless murders at Virginia Tech.

Is there no limit to the greed of the search engines, newspapers, and television producers, all of whom have no concept of needing money, in their strive to earn revenues and ratings??

Feel free to read my full rant, and pass it on to your friends family and enemies!!

    Peace

while I don't like what is happening either but people are free to say and advertise whatever they want...show me where in the TOS it says its against the rules to advertise your news article directly related to what the user is searching for..

I don't see the big deal with people advertising their stories...it's not like they are selling products related to it.

Yes in a way I am. However I am in no way a large corporation, and if you notice I did not ad any adsense code to my blog post, as opposed to my normal practice....I guess in some way my acknowledging my self promotion to call light to the practice.

Except for the fact that a great majority of the people online would likely know the URL to their local or favorite newspapers, and so would not need to turn to the search engine to find the story.
