Now thats an interesting statement. I have only recently built up to 1000 visitors a day perhaps I should go back and retry them.

from an advertiser point of view, bidvertiser has a very toilsome buy system. let's say you have a site - www.xyz.com - and it's in the category "Personal Photo Galleries." (i've picked this at random) Seems like it should be easy to find, right? in order to locate your site, this is what i have to do:

    1. From the admin page, click on "Add Sites." This opens a window that displays 22 different categories.
    2. "Personal Homepages" is the 16th category on this page. After I search through all the previous categories one by one, I finally click on PH, which currently includes 90 sites.
    3. In PH, there is yet another list of 9 sub-categories, containing these 90 individual sites. "Photo Galleries" is the 6th sub-category under PH. After searching the first 5 sub-categories, I click on PG, which says it contains 2 sites.
    4. I get to yet ANOTHER sub-category link page that says "Photo Galleries - 2 Sites." (i personally don't see the point of this last step...i.e. click)
At this point, the breadcrumbs look like this:
Show All >> Personal Homepages >> Photo Galleries
I click on the link and it drops down the two sites.
    5. I must then click on each site listing (some sub-categories have 100 sites) in order to read the site stats, and the sites are listed in order of page views, with the sites with most page views on the top. The stats are opened in a completely separate window; there is no way to view them side-by-side.

NOW - you can see why if you have a site in a small niche market, with very little traffic, that many advertisers may never even get to viewing your site stats. They have made it so difficult for advertisers, that after I set up my account, I haven't touched it since because it seems so daunting (clicks and conversions are decent so i'm not worried about it). if you do have a lot of site traffic, it may be worth it to sign up with them, as you might be one of the few sites that advertisers have the patience to find.

So is the thing about earning 3x as much true? I might give them a go if so.

Well when I signed up over a year a go. The CPC was only just above Clicksor, now its 10x clicksor (CPC $0.01 - 0.02) to around $0.20 or more.

CPC with bidvertiser is not a problem, its the number of clicks down to the irrelevant ads.

how long did u try it for?

I would expect you would need to try it for at least a month to get all the advertisers interested and advertising (and therefore increasing the cpc and better ads).

I would say to try ANY advertising program for at least a month before deciding otherwise

I'm using them right now, and they pay based on clicks only. I can manage about 3000 impressions per day, yet clicks are lucky if I get one. Not the best for me, in my opinion. However AdSense delivered the same problems, no clicks.

I gave the them the heave ho about a month ago. I feel ya pain about the click issue. That was the main reason for getting them off my sites.

They are starting to pay a lot more. Now I earn twice as more with bidvertiser than I did with adsense.

thats not something new with bidvertiser .. all I am looking to know is that have they really improved as people are talking abt 3x mail as i dont wanna try out them myself
~ ads arent relevant / they dont count every click - my past experience on a small site .

    It can vary.
But some people dont try programs for long enough for dismissing it.
