Recently Bidding directories are coming up in the market... I have recently submitted to around 20 Bidding directories ( but dont remember in which I submitted - I may have submitted twice - due to almost similar directories names like bid-dir, biddingdir, webbiddir etc.. ) To submitters - Do you visit them again to make higher bids if you are outbid ? ( I deleted all those mails )

Yes, the directory names are similar. But then the case is that if you don't take a similar name to your targetted keyword just thinking that it might be slightly same as the other directory, someone else might go for it, so buy it now to avoid crying later on. That's the explanation of simlarities in names of the upcoming bidding directories. As far as visiting them again if we are outbid, yes i do, atleast i visit them if not to bid again but atleast to know as to "Who Damn Outbidded me and threw me out of the top X position"
I have regged a new domain for an upcoming one I will do with Saad. But it doesn´t have the keyword bid, position, or any of that in it. I rank in Google anyways.
You could use a reciprocal link checker to make sure you stay on a particular page ... but it is not very good for monitoring a specific position. Hopefully we'll see some better bid management tools in the near future.
I don't think you will forget our Richerman Domain called bid directory will confuse me, but you will know google is SE and richerman is a bid directory
