.... In a prime-time address to the nation, the president said he would boost the U.S. presence in Iraq to more than 150,000 troops, steeled the country for more violence and said he had made a mistake by not ordering more troops there last year......

The next mistake he is about to do is to send more troops.
I am 99.99% sure this unjust war won't be won.
Why unjust? - Well everyone now with common sense knows that it started with a bunch of BIG LIES.

I would even confidently say it is a 100% chance mate.

Some of these "Hollwood Movie Watching Gung-Ho Fucking Idiots" still see victory in sight.

    Utter crap.

Poll: Americans oppose Iraq troop surge
WASHINGTON - Americans overwhelmingly oppose sending more U.S. forces to Iraq, according to a new AP-Ipsos poll that serves as a strong repudiation of President Bush's plan to send another 21,500 troops.

The opposition to boosting troop levels in Iraq reflects growing skepticism that the United States made the right decision in going to war in the first place and that a stable, democratic government can be established there. Just 35 percent think it was right for the United States to go to war, a new low in AP polling and a reversal from two years ago, when two-thirds of Americans thought it was the correct move.....

Looks like the truth is gonna come out soon for the REAL REASONS TO GO IN IRAQ.

You got people coming in from every border, do they actually believe sending more tropps will win this? The only option i see now that would save face is to negotiate some kind of deal with both sides. The proof dman? Come on man where have u been the last few years. Look at what the cia has been saying about how the bush administration pressuring them to make it look like saddam has wmd's. Man can u at least look at this through unbiased eyes?Even fox news released this info many times and we all know how unbiased they are. Even after this info was released bush said it was still the right decision because saddam(the sme saddam that gassed kurds and our government turned a blind eye in the 1980's) is a tyrant. Everyone living on this gods green earth knows that no nation on earth or its people would have sanctioned this war based on thos reasons so instead they trumped up some BS evidence about wmd's and poof, instant war.
The pity here is that our poor soldiers and innocent iraqi women and children are paying for this BSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS lie of a war.

Anything to back that up pingy, or just the usual "opinion?" I'd counter, most, if not all, once again, but considering that I'd have to do it again, tells me you have no regard for facts. When you have no facts, just make some up!

Here, let's start with this one. "lie of a war." What lie do you assert here?

Who did they poll, what state, city, etc. Was it men, or was it women, or both? Was it moms and dads of our troops, or not? polls don't mean anything, they predicted Kerry won the White House..remember? I want some actual facts, and since you laughed at my last post, I assume you don't have any?

President Bush, facing opposition from both parties over his plan to send more troops to Iraq, said he has the authority to act no matter what Congress wants.

"I fully understand they could try to stop me from doing it. But I've made my decision. And we're going forward," Bush told CBS' "60 Minutes" in an interview to air Sunday night............

All the time that Bush has been in power he hasn't given a flying fuck what congress or anyone else thinks for that matter.

That is one of the reasons that we are in this fucking disaster.

If lies were involved with the USA going to Iraq, then you have to call Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, the French, the Germans and the Russians liers. The fact is that everyone believed Saddam had the WMDs. He also had 5 years to hide any WMDs after kicking the guttless UN out of the country. You are going to have to come up with something better that wild accusations before you make claims of lies.

The real fact is that while Iraq is a mess, leaving Iraq would create a situation that will very likely be much worse. Bush has got one more chance to fix this thing, and he absolutely must ignore the liberal media and Democrats who have tried to sabotage every move he has made since he went to Iraq. This has had a strong influence on naive people who don't take the time to understand the situation and the future ramifications.

He has one last chance to fix this thing. If he can't do it, I may join this gaggle of fools calling for immediate withdrawal. :D

The real problems are rooted with the Iraqis themselves. It will be real tough to get them to stop killing each other. They are just doing what Middle East Muslims do best--killing each other. I get a real kick out of Muslims who destroy each others' Masques in the name of their flavor of Islam.

There are plenty of threads on this forum that show the same facts...however, dems constantly bring it up and say that the WMD's are false and that Saddam led a better country than what is going on now...those in this forum that don't believe it just move on to another thread, where again they are proved wrong like you have done...good job.

Hey nima, see post #9...polls are useless, no matter who carries them out. This is one place where I don't like Fox, but they (as all media) have to cater to the public...We report, you decide.
