I watched with shock the news concerning the cowardly assasination of Benazir Bhutto - and it was coupled with a true personal sense of the loss that the world has suffered having lost her. Today I have been contacted by two UK journalists for my words on the matter, and to be fair I couldnt understand at all why they were calling me, an SEO/Webdesigner in Kent??? About two months ago, she made her last public appearance in the UK, at a charity dinner in our local city of Rochester (Kent). A political forum that I run which covers this local area was their and we not only had the chance to speak to Ms. Bhutto, but also took what now appears to be one of the last photo's of her in the U.K. before leaving for pakistan. The photos and articles were posted on our well SEO'd forum about two months ago, and today its gone through the roof for hits... This local political forum that normally receives 30/40 uv's per day has had over 2000 unique visitors in the last 24 hours, with most of these hits coming from google's image search. At the moment the hits are coming thick and fast and I am wondering what other news services are going to contact us? (so far its been the BBC and ITV, two UK networks). Anyway, its a bad day for world politics, and our heart goes out to the family, friends and the people of pakistan. MOG.
