If your using black hat then you will be in the sanbox for good Imagine how well
you can be if your on top of all the black hat players,
the sand box is only part of this, the rest is worse:) if 2 of your site got zapped then were you wearing a black hat! or simply just boxed in?:D

I'm getting organic searches for quite a few of my keywords even though the pages in question aren't ranked that high, so I'm guessing I'm not in the sandbox just not been around long enough.

Re: blackhat, I just load up my products write my descriptions and fill in my tags reflecting the keywords on the page.

Google always love white hat people .

the journey is long but is more effective in the long run

With blach hat you may ( or may not ) get the results but the journey will be very very short and google hates short journy

my page is up from 3 months no PR but i am still working manually and with white hat :p

I agree. You can never go wrong as long as you're on the good side. Google will notice your efforts eventually...:)

thats a good theory keep in mind you will need to submit to atleast 50 directories a day before you see any traffic to your site, thats the bottom line" how do I know this? I apply the Google analytics tools and they tell me how many visits per day I get! the sheer factor is you need no less than 100 hits a day to make sales and that applys to all product" plus the age but how can you get age if your not listed any ware?

if you don't create enough back links then your doomed" theory/reason every directory becomes a back link" I have three years online know" the best little secrete is using the very best soft ware"if your selling products you need it more than you think" dont get stuck on hand submitions"
by the way this is white hat not black" and remember submit your site to the same directory every 31 days no less or else you can get black listed

All new sites are sandboxed for a while. Sites that use black hat techniques are usually not just sandboxed, they are taken completely out of the index. Black Hat consists of things like link spamming, cloaking, content generators and other things of that nature.

A Good example of the new changes in Google Algorithm have been applied to an australian SEO firm that use a web counter with a footer text 'seo counter'. They have been on the top of google for the phrase 'search engine optimisation' with dodgy links...

With the new changes they moved to rank 65 in one day.... This strategy was not black hat for a long time, but everything is changing very fast... Something a bit grey can turn black in a couple of day... Stick with reliable white hat strategies
