I just received this email from Online Paypal Services (paypal@securepaypal.com)

If you copy paste the link https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_login-run no doubt it leads to the login page of paypal.

However if any of you receive this email and if you click on the link from the email itself, it will direct you to http://l7obdyalek.info/confirm-payp...update/banking-paypal/secure-banking/US14S41/

I accidentally signed in with that fake url and the next page it asked for all my details I looked at the url and realized it is a scam. I quickly changed my password!

l7obdyalek.info shows an empty site as well. This is a very clever scam especially when the email looks like paypal with their logo etc and the link provided by them is their link except that when a user clicks on it in their emails it leads them to another link which is their scamming link!

The email address stated (paypal@securepaypal.com), I went to check out securepaypal.com and it's paypal's site as well, is that right?

I hope no on else falls into this scam, wonder how they got my email.

Each time someone logs into their paypal account through their phishing tricks, is there a possibility that a keylogger will automatically be downloaded in the background to your computer?

yes it is possible to install a program on your computer using scrpits... i use to have a scrpit on my webiste on tutorial section... but when people started to use it to infect others then i removed it... but yes it is very easy to install something on your computer using a webpage... this is a very nasty dirty trick... also i know there are peoples who can infect you just by sending you a email... and when you open the email you will get infected... i dont know the email trick and so i cannot tell you how it is done.. but just know it can be done.... and most of the new keyloggers cannot be detected by anti virus...

One of 2 things to remember

Paypal will only call you by your first and last name, not dear customer, patron or your email name.
Also all paypal emails end with intl.paypal.com
