I was contacted by Webmedia (wmadv.com) and I gave them a week's test with payment promised within 24 hours of completion. It's now been over 2 weeks and all the rep (Raz Almog) keeps telling me is it's being processed, blah blah blah. In total we've sent 12 million ad impressions so they are sitting on a few hundred bucks. Apparently they are a big company so this should be tiny money to them anyway. So the word SCAM is ringing in my head. I'll keep you posted on when/if I do get payment, but in the meantime everyone be careful. They will set up your account within hours, but when will you paid? Who knows... If anyone has any experiences or reviews please share so we can build up a better picture of how they operate.
Dearest Monkeyclap, We here at WebMedia pride ourselves on our top notch performance and reputation, we are in this business for many years and have not experienced any problems with payments in our history. I must apologize and assure you that if there is any delay in your payment it must be a temporary problem due to unconventional terms that might have been as our accounting department makes monthly payments at a set date every month and if you expected payment on a date that doesn't coincide with our terms then that might have caused the issue. I've now heard personally from Raz who has promised payment by 15th May. This being the case or not, I will of course provide an update. Hopefully it will be a good one.
Payment received today, which is a week ahead of what they promised, so all is good again. These guys do pay after all.
