One of my friends recommended me to join him on twitter. I wondered why to join another " one of those networking sites" when there are already thousands present... But then I thought why not give it a try as it was recommended by a no nonsense guy. I visited the platform and saw a bird on the home page and the question " What are you doing?" .... thought what crap is this!!!! but then joined it, made myself comfortable with it by spending some time exploring it... Now what is the result of all this ordeal? Warning: Don't try twitter!! It is an addiction. Once hooked on it , you can't escape it. It might be injurious to your health! But kudos to guys who made twitter to take “ Engaging people by leveraging internet†to a stratospheric level. Source: Engaging Customers by Leveraging Internet
I am not sure you guys understand the Twitter at all. Its a 'mini blogging tool', as some of the most successful bloggers suggest. Its very easy to perceive it as auseless addictive universal chat tool where you get to jot down your momentary thoughts. To find out how pro bloggers use Twitter, checkout www.doshdosh.com and find his posts on Twitter. You'll be amazed.
I don't know what is so fascinating in reading other people's stuff like the "I'm lying on my back, I think I'm gonna turn the other way cause I kinda got bored, I'm planning to pick my nose for the rest of the afternoon" kind of stuff.
JOhn Chow and Shoemoney are both on it. I don't how to use it to market my site. It seems that you need a lot followeres for it to work on you like the two guys who I recently review.
Don't even think about what Twitter is. You will never understand it till you sign up. Really, I thought the same thing until I signed up and now I'm addicted in one day. Read my post Explaining Twitter Is Like Explaining Sex To A Virgin. Alan
Twitter is weird to me. But I like the idea of getting people to follow. So, if you are easily influenced, please follow me now. I will lead you to the bowels of Hell and back.
After reading these posts like "How to use Twitter", I think I understand it now. Make sure to add me! twitter.com/Dragonfire870
I signed up and used Twitter only for a few minutes and never return again. I don't see how it can compare to Facebook etc.
You can't compare it to Facebook. Twitter is like the "status updates" on Facebook, except it's stand-alone and much, much, much better.
To be honest I couldn't care less for Twitter and services like this. Somehow I don't find it useful and prefer to focus on my work instead of wasting time writing what I'm doing right now or what I'm going to do.
More than enough of such in the market. I still can't figure out their value proposition to the end users.
you will keep talking and won't ever understand its usefulness until you give some time to it! wait and give time to twitter. As a blogger it is really very helpful
