Beware of the DP Fraudulent Members

I have been a member of DP for almost a year now and I have met some fraudulent members- good thing it's easy to avoid them.

But just last week, I happened to write some contents to a DP member who has failed to pay me the amount I should have received for making articles.

This member is fcphost who works for warezcut.com and whose IM is . I kept on waiting for the payment and its been a week I haven't received the payment yet. I always catch him online but seldom does he reply my messages. One time he told me he is already sending the payment thru paypal but it was pure hoax as I didn't receive any.

Please avoid doing transactions with this member. Though he has this iTrader (6), he still managed to ruin his reputation by not paying his dues. Please spread this so that others may not be deceived by this fraudulent person.

Let this thread be open for us to post our experiences with fraudulent members so that we could all be warned. Thanks and looking forward for sharing it with us.

I intentionally placed this on the Content Creation page since we are the victims of these schemes most often than not. Imagine, spending about 24 hours in front of the computer glare and you won't receive any payment from it? That's absurd.

Shouldn't alarm bells start ringing when someone works in the business of ripping off peoples work?

They can, and probably will. I wouldn't worry about it personally. You may lose your 100% record, but people understand how the iTrader system works here.

Once we are in an open market place we must know that there would be some bad people around.Writers who are ready to work for anyone at any price seldomly get a chance to know everything in advance and at the end they feel cheated."itraders" may be an indication about the worthiness of a DP member but then look at "Jenn".Does she need an "itrader" to build a reputation?

Well, I have another sad tale to share with my fellow writers! A buyer wanted someone to write 5 reviews (technical) for him. He posted a thread saying he is paying $5 for reviews. I’ve PMed him saying I could be writing a review of 300 words for $5 and then it's been okayed between both of us. In fact, he needed them fast, so I had to pull an all-nighter too and gave them in 7 hours' time. He transferred $5 into my paypal saying he will pay more when he had. He then wanted me to leave an iTrader. I made a point that he clears the due of $20 and then we can exchange iTraders and close the deal. He then came out with a revelation saying he wanted to pay $5 for all 5 reviews (to be precise I’ve sent him 1867 words).

    $5 for 1867 words ?

Am I mad to accept or the buyer smart to throw peanuts? I rather feel happy writing for free ...if only he had asked sincerely. Now, I want to return back his $5 along with my two cents.

So dear writer friends, make sure you read astutely posted threads ….some buyers will be waiting to pounce and rip you off!

If you said that the rate was to be $5 PER review, then he has just failed to pay you, and you should leave a negative iTrader.

ZDavis! I probably can leave an iTrader but it will also prompt him to repeat the same retaliation. What made me unhappy is the smartness of the buyer (rather I say oversmart) to flake on me!

profithost....so you knew the person I was mentioning about!

    Hi,

Even I have avery bad experience to share with all. I am a newbie in the forum and was offered to write 5 articles of 300 worder on replying to a thread posted. The person agreed to pay 3$ for each article. But, after sending the articles, neither did he pay nor did he acknowledge the receipt of the same.
I did mail the person telling, not to pay but at least respect the time spent by acknowledging that the articles is received and read.

Its a sad tale but a true one !!!!
