A few days a go, a scammer on digitalpoint called "imoney" wanted to to sell an information about how to get pr7 links, after i talked with him on msn, the links that he wanted to sell are wikipedia pages ? he didnt even know what is the no-follow untill i told him on msn today he was back to me with another pr8 offer for $2500, i never agreed for this price, i told him i want to see the page, after he showed me the link, i refused to have this deal because its a comment in a blog and the post will lose its pr as soon as its moved to the archive, also the blog is running under the expression engine, which i believe have the no-follow integrated in the system. Now he is threadening me to add me a bad itrader and contact all my clients if i dont give him $2500. Lots and lots of scammers are joining DP and this is not a good sign. Everyone needs to be careful dealing with new members. Yet another thread about scammers (seen 4 already I guess in past couple of days). I think there should be a DP police who interviews every new member offering a service
I think I've seen 4 scammer threads in the last 24 hours. somehow we need to crack down on this. Don't worry about your reputation. some loser with a "u stole my monies" email to everyone shouldn't hurt it.

Not necessarily new people are scammers. Im relatively new and would never scam anyone ever. And from reading other scamming threads some people have hundreds or even thousands of posts. Its worrying though. I think we need improved internet security.
Unfortunately every scammers poses like he is one of the most noble guys in the world saying things like this and eventually scamming and leaving others talking about them for a while. You never know from post count that a person is trustable or good to deal with. Infact you need to be a bit clever and use common sense when dealing. And common sense is what most of people lake.
