Mr. Harash (AKA Hanidesign) contacted me via PM for an urgent job to be done in 3-4 hours. He was sent the work, but did not respond to emails and ignored IM. After a few days of not being able to contact him, I tracked down the job. I found out Mr. Harash lost the account two days prior to contacting me, therefore had no intention of paying me from the start. Do not trust Hanidesign / Mr. Harash if he contacts you directly to do work for him. My attempt to comment on iTrader won't work because the request is via PM and not a traditional thread.
I felt bad after reading what happened with you, even same thing happened to me so now I just show preview and send the source/work files only after i receive the payment. We must be careful with new customer but if its a repeat customer and regular in paying then thats an exception
you can also put some watermarks on the design during the preview stage. skzubair is also right about sending the source/work files only after receipt of payment. This happened to me a couple of times too so now i'm careful about bringing on projects to clients.
Watermark is a must and perhaps starting a new thread when you accept work should also be considered. Sad this has happened to you and thanks for warning others. I think DP should have a exclusive section for such complaints - Check Me before you hire section should save a lot of trouble for many!
Strange, I dealt with Hanidesigns before and he seemed like an honest person .. Maybe he was hacked ?
Sorry to hear that... rip offs are the ugly part of this community as it seems. But most are honest and good.
