*Beware* Google Ads Links to Phishing Pages on Google page

    Hi guys,

Is it just me or is everyone else facing the same problem? I just visited one of my site and my anti-virus started denying Google ads stating it contains links to Phishing sites. I removed the Google ads codes on my site and the anti-virus stops popping up. I replaced them with the codes right from Google Adsense but yet it still persist in showing them linking to phishing sites.

I have attached a screenshot here:

Few minutes ago when I surf DP I don't see this phishing link problem but now every page of DP I surf would pop up this phishing link thingy from my anti-virus.

You can try accessing http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/test_domain.js and see if it gives you any phishing link denial from your anti-virus. Let me know what you guys are seeing, thanks!

False positive? AVG isn't doing it. Try updating your AV database if you haven't already.

Hmm that's strange, because I have not run any Kaspskey updates today. If I had run an update and this problem started happening, then there is a chance that the new update of Kaspersky has problems with Google ads but apparently not. And sites were showing Google ads just fine all along today until few minutes ago. Seems like Fazil is having the same problem as well.

Hmm it is indeed strange. It seems like Kaspersky is detecting this as a threat when it's not (false positive). Your best bet would be to email kaspersky about this ASAP... that is the only explanation I can see it being, my reasons for this is that both you and fazilman are using kaspersky and I'm not. Works for me but not you two.

But if the issue is indeed a Kaspersky problem, this problem should have happened the whole of today, not just few minutes ago no?

I thought this to... however I changed my mind. I'm not sure how Kaspersky is set out, but I guess it has separate things such as web filter, email monitoring, anti virus, etc. Maybe the web filter/protection did some sort of silent update... emailing kaspersky would clarify this (and rectify the problem if it is indeed something on Kaspersky's behalf).

Try disabling the web shield/protection for a minute then visit the ad/js file.

Yeah!! My KIS is going mad on each page I am visiting which shows adsense.
May be bugs in it's latest database update.
