    me too i was offered a pr5 and a pr 7 for $20.00 and i told him its to good to be true, and i got to much negative i trader from maggots with no i trader that get caught scamming.

    You cant get the money again, paypal dont have buyer protection in case of digital products, a few months ago, som user contact to me for buy me 4 domains with pr, was 200 usd, and then i send the domains, he make the dispute and paypal dont back the money to me. Becareful with that

    This is a very useful thread, definitely a good warning about the risks of buying domains from members with zero posts/itrader.

    Just to give people a heads up, I received a PM from williamk.son86 offering to sell his PR4 domain http://tiiaz.com thru Paypal. I just ignored it, but I'm sorry that so many people have got sucked in. As an aside, this seems as if it's a randomly generated username - I wonder if there is a way that the mods can identify these?

    What I don't understand about these scams, is that the scammers are insisting on payment thru Paypal, but that just protects the buyer - as they can just raise a dispute if the domain is then not transferred, and recover their money. Or am I missing something?
