Hello Guys! I have noticed two of my websites for which i was ranking on top positions in google without commenting on any blog but now after i have commented on several blogs with my link tagged to my keyword its nowhere found in google why ? i think google is removing the websites which are using there keywords in the comment so just to alert you people !!
If you target the same keyword too much G will knock you out of the serps it is called pinholing. But this is especially true for shorter keywords. if you target "blah blah" you are more likely to get knocked out than if you target "blah blah blah blah". Stop focussing on the same keyword for a little while and when you do start to focus on the same word again add one or 2 extra words to it.
Your keyword should be variety and not concentrating in one particular keyword. That's what i read and understood from article underground presentation. Otherwise it will trigger your website as a keyword spamming.
but how dothey come to know about that ? like if i am commenting with one word keyword do i hav to submit each post alternate days so tha it remains constant ?
how long has it been? If its only a day or two then I will say wait for a couple of more days and you may see it again.
Possibly a stupid question but related to a topic elsewhere and it's got me thinking. If using the same keyword as anchor text all the time can get you flagged for keyword spamming, isn't that a way for a competitor to screw up your Google rankings? By perhaps spamming blog comments with the same keyword over and over again? Wouldn't that technically have to be one of those things that Google couldn't hold you accountable for?
Very interesting and good information from everyone. I'll keep this in mind for my commenting. Are you talking about commenting on blogs that have nofollow?
Well, what I have heard you can do at least up to 6 or 8 times. It might depends when the spider spidered your coments. If they do find out, you do it in bunch. Your keyword might get delist.
My site is in my signature and it went from #2 in Google results to #10 in a day...but I've been on here a little while now so I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it...I'd definitely be interested in finding out more.
