If you're choosing between free options, I would go with blogger. I recommend going the paid route with wordpress though.

Like everything that is technology related. Personal preference, I like Wordpress better than Blogger.
It is Easy to use and Plenty of plugins and themes.

of course, Wordpress. the reasons are that your content will get quickly indexed and it has purely search engine friendly layout. Also lots of themes and plug-ins are available either free or paid. self hosting is another great option.

 

Use wordpress. Newbs can use it and its much better.

 

If you are a complete noob then maybe blogger would be a good start as managing it is closer to managing your email.
If you really want to get into blogging then a self hosted wordpress blog is for you.

you can do seo very easy in wordpress not in blogger and wordpress blogs are also professional look so wordpress is better than blogger

 

i'll go for wp hosted blog than blogspot as we can have the full control of the blog content as its not with the blogspot. and wp has got lots of plugins for smo and seo. so i suggest wp hosted blog.

Hey, if you are newbie go for bloggers once you stand here then try to Wordpress

 

Wordpress by far is the best. You have so much flexiability with Wordpress and you can add plugins that make your job so much easier. If you understand how to use Wordpress you can make lots of money online compared to Blogger.

 

As a newbie , you may use blogger as a platform for your blogging. As and when it become part of your life, you may then shifted to wordpress as wordpress has more options for your blog.

 

If you're looking for free blog, then better go for blogger as it allows adsense.
Otherwise, there's no better blogging platform than wordpress...
