    Wordpress. It makes everything easier. But if you don't have money/don't want to pay money to buy a domain and web hosting I would go with blogger.

    If you are just aiming for an extra income with without spending money for a domain, then blogger is good for you. But, if you want to have your own site and thinking for a long time effect, then wordpress is good.

    Comparative bit more involved
    Very easily customizable for SEO - The best in my opinion
    If you are not using self hosting i.e from wordpress site directly
    • JavaScript will not be available
    • You are restricted to using wordpress default templates
    • You cannot have adsense on the site

    In summary, I would say if you are self hosting the website - go for wordpress. Else, Blogger would be a better option

    Google does some really good things for the internet but then goes and make changes that lose it customers. If one person leaves then surely you’re not going to be alone and other people will be off too. I agree that a premium product could offer this service but I’m a wordpress user and am happy to stick with them!

    I started with blogger and i am happy with it. Not yet tried wordpress- may be because of blogger satisfaction. My blog is not very old. It is about Sahajayoga- meditaation technique practised all over the world ,irrespective of religion, started by Mataji Nirmaladevi from India., the holy Mother of all of us.     n if you don't know how to install n configure with best settings+plugins, use following free service.

    this service offers auto wordpress installation, configuration, theme n plugin installation + configuration. u can also manage all your installed blogs at same place without need to login at all blogs individually.
