Better use of stumbleupon - Worked positively for me

    Hello all,

    I want to share my recent experience with stumbleupon.

    I used to stumble my sites/forums but didn't get more than 50-60 visitors anytime, but recently I stumbled a link of my site and after stumbling it I browsed the stumbleupon site and reviewed other links that were stumbled by others.

    I reviewed like 4-5 sites and then I left. And it was my first time that I got 2K+ visitors in just few hours. And still I am getting around 200+ visitors daily from SU.

    I am not really sure that either my link was that much interesting or the reviews I did there worked for me, but I think the more time you spend on SU and the more reviews you do the more better results you will get.

    I hope this post will help you in getting good result from SU.

    Not really. Because I just stumbled a link of my forum (present in my sig) and in result people just came to my forum, read the post and left.

    Got only 2 registrations from SU :D

    But I am happy with it. I just wanted to spread a word about my forum and it worked. The only thing I don't like about SU is that even if you get 1000K visitors they just browse 1 page or maximum 2 :(

    May be it is because they come from SU and their main focus was on SU links, so they clicked on my link - came and read - and moved to another SU link back.

    StumbleUpon brings traffic but with relatively higher bounce rates. It can only better your traffic rank.

    Comment on other's blogs, produces traffic, period.

    That said I have found that if you leave a long, detailed, and useful comment on another's blog (which is popular) you will reap hits from them for quite some time. Also DIGG or STUMBLEUPON are great and if you spend a few hours a week reading blogs, comment on them and you will see really good returns.
