G+ has some very cool features like Circle & Hangout, but I think it will take more time for the common people to get used to with G+. On the other hand, Facebook has already reached the common hearts; hence so far, Facebook is definitely more popular. But for long term, I think it is going to be a tough battle for both of them.
I believe Facebook is just so saturated, everyone is comfortable with it. It is hard to get people out of that comfort zone. Google + is for everyone who is tired of the facebook games, and looking for something new. I am trying to post informative information on google+, and more fun, cutesy stuff on facebook. Google plus is awesome for news, and the new feature on google search that shows your "circles" recommendations is a definite plus. Google is doing big things, beyond Social Media.
face book is old and golgle plus in new, so you can understand which is better, how ever my idea is that google plus is better then face book if you are looking those for SEO....
I have been a fan of facebook and been using it most of the time. But then, when I post something on facebook it becomes so public that sometimes I don't like some people lurking on my profile or shout out. Then came google plus which makes you segregate your friends. That is really one cool feature of google plus which facebook is trying to adapt as well. The nice thing about google plus is that you get to have one account name for all the Google features. Anway, facebook or google both has its pros and cons but overall, I love both social media sites. Makes easier to connect to the world!
Ofcourse we all know Facebook is far more social and better than Google Plus.No doubt about that. Lol.
I have already rooted on Facebook with my fan pages, but I think there is a great room for Google+ for more improvements.
If anyone will ask me then i,ll plus Google plus and no doubt Facebook is also good. I have an example- Check both of pages and find which one is more appealing - FaceBook-facebook.com/ElectroKnol Vs Google Plus page-plus.google.com/109343777609488642751/posts
