in the last 4 years, overture results have been minimal. adwords = much better. With that said, the budgets I have allowed at google have typically been higher to start, be even so, lower cost per click, and higher revenue per click. although I'm not typically a huge Google fan.

Adwords by far... If not just for the simple fact that you can test things a heck of a lot quicker. It can take days to get an Overture campaign going... and then to only find out your ad was rejected, which could take another couple days.

Yeah, Google CPC is much higher but much better at conversions IMO. I can't stand the overture interface... its confusing and agravating.

I am probably missing out on some $ not using Overture but it leads to lower conversions and bigger headaches on my end.

    Google is my friend. :D

Adwords is by far the most appropriate tool for the job. Because of this, more people use it. It leads to higher CPC but it still converts better then the others in terms of lead quality at least. And its still way ahead of Yahoo, Miva and Adcenter in terms of UI.

    Adwords provides higher traffic.
Overture in some niche areas can give better conversion rate.
