Beta Testers Required - new phpLD Mod from DirectorySpy

Worked now..Just installed it and it's awesome mod but what if other directory owners use this to find private info like how many feautred link other directory have since it shows featured links without asking any password etc?

It's no different to my statistics mod that displays the information on the front of the site. e.g. that on http://www.moondirectory.co.uk

If you really wanted that information hidden, you could. But is it such a big deal?

Soon. I have a couple of tweaks to make, and then I need to write the documentation for it. Shouldn't take too long.

Ok i am lost , how is it different from recoding your pages like i did on my directory www.sbclansite.com (look on top right). I have that stats there for over 5 months now.

My only question is :
What makes your mod so special that i should give it a try ? (Please elaborate)

 

Because if you read the description above and look at the screenshots, the statistics are displayed on the Google Personalised Homepage. The Google Personalised Homepage is your personalised content page with RSS feeds, etc. It basically allows you to monitor how many links there are in your directory to process without going to the directory.

 

But what use it to a user who doesn't have google personalised homepage(i heard it first time only). Plus it helps only directory owners right, no incentives for the visitors right? Cause personally i would use a mod only if it helps visitors in one way or other. But i suppose its good mod for those who do not like to code or edit their pages themselves. Sorry if this sounds bit rude or something similar cause i to be frank do not see its usefulness to those who can play around with their directory and do bits of coding. Good for noobies i think

 

I run 5 directories. I wrote it for myself so that I could see very quickly which directory needs my attention to process links. It's because I can see the statistics for all of the directories on a single page on Google Personalised Homepage.

It only benefits the owner of the directory. I wrote it to help myself, but I thought others might find it useful.

I only wanted to share.

I know that feeling i remember my alexa rank display code i shared with others.

Its good to share but was just wondering how it helps directory owners like myself (who do not know what google personalized page you are talking about) . What helps me is by just visiting my directory and checking the stats on the links right there without logging admin panel.

 

Ah. If you used the Google Personalised Homepage, you would understand better why this is useful.

I have all of the news, status and information that I am interested in on a single page with Google Personalised Homepage.
