Beta testers needed | $50 prize | Cool Site

I need people to test my application before I officially launch.

Heres what it looks like:


Its an online mp3 player, so visitors upload their music collection and then can listen from their home, work, laptop etc. I need people to register for an account and play around with it.

To qualify for the $50 prize you must:
- create an account at www.musecast.com and upload atleast 5 songs
- test the application for atleast 10 minutes
- submit some kind of feedback, including a bug, suggestion or an idea for improvement.

I would like any and all feedback, so if you have any thoughts let me know.

If you do find a bug, please recreate your steps in producing that bug

I am posting this thread here and a few other forums. I will randomly select 1 person from everyone that submitted feedback to receive $50 (via PayPal). I will use a PHP script to randomly select the winner.

Hey, that is an awesome idea for a site. I am not sure if it works properly though. I went to the link and there were songs playing and I had not even registered yet.

 

Yeah, thats how its meant to be. Its a free preview so people know what to expect when they register. But thats good feedback, I should probably have a messages saying that.

 

so easy to download the files. for example: http://musecast.com/lib/sendFile.php?id=29
you might have legal issues with this

 

BTW I'm looking for bands that want their song(s) featured on the front page for the unregistered preview. When I go live I will not have copyrighted songs on the preview, so if you have a band or have a friend with a band and want free exposure let me know

Really nice layout for an MP3 player, at least it looks better than most mp3 players like iPlayer and Windows Player.

ok theres a nice website with unique ideea but i've found some bugs:
at join musecast i've waited a few seconds to tell me the name is aready used, you should disable join now button after pressing once, so in that way you can avoid getting alot of errors with "the name is aready used"
"All Files" progress is abit behind, i've done uploaded 3/4 and the all file bar was filled at 35-40%, mentioning that all the files have like the same size.
and then after finishing the upload shows me in playlist 5 files, 1 file with differite names, and the volume control dosent work for my songs. hope i win, thanks.
