    I LOVE it. I like how filiters are now layers, maximized work area, and the smart selection tool.

    yeah its such an improvement when adobe took over macromedia i feared for photoshops quality i did not want it to become creative suite however this release shows that is not the plan

    I actually quit dislike the new interface and am sticking with CS2 for the time being, also have any of you tried making a selection inside the canvas to outside the canvas, it goes spazzy.

    Will I be needing a new computer to run CS3? God knows I needed a new box to run CS2!

    Macintosh

    * PowerPC G4 or G5 or Intel based Macintosh processor
    * Mac OS X v.10.4.8
    * 320MB of RAM (512MB recommended)
    * 64MB of video RAM
    * 1.5GB of available hard-disk space
    * 1,024x768 monitor resolution with 16-bit video card
    * DVD-ROM drive
    * Internet or phone connection required for product activation
    * QuickTime 7 software required for multimedia features

    Windows

    * Intel Pentium 4, Intel Centrino, Intel Xeon, or Dual-Core Intel Xeon processor
    * Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista
