besy way to rank no1 for a keyword that has 100k search results

    hey guys, i was just wondering what would be your plan if you wanted to rank number one for a keyword that had 100k search results and decent search queries.

    what would you do to get the top spot?

    Just get lots of links to that keyword and make sure it's in page titles and headers like <h1></h1>

    My sites finally got upto page 3 for online games on google which im quite happy about, not time to stop yet though, going for page 1!

    say the links are theme related and relevent, blogs, sigs etc, how long are we talking to make it to the top mate

    Do proper onpage and offpage SEO. That should do the trick.

    If the term is not that competitive then write several articles and submit them to ezine articles with 2 links back to your website. This way you will most probably get a top ten ranking straight from ezine articles.

    The next thing to do which would take a little longer is to SEO your website to rank highly on the search engines for the term. For a new site this may take a couple of weeks to a couple of months however if your site is already been set up for a while it shouldnt be too hard. Gain some links through various link building strategies and use the search term as your anchor text.
