I have a set of finance related forums (Borrowing saving etc - its not really a stocks and shares type of site). There are a few unique things about my site over others which i swhy i think it will do well. I also work in the finance industry so i have a bit of knowledge. I have a budget of around $100 to advertise the site with does anyone have any suggestions?
What sites do you respect in the same niche? Which sites do you go to that don't have the information or social connections that your site offers but are related? These are probably the sites where you should advertise - talk to the owners to see if you can buy a backlink. ...I'm not sure if I have a finance category on my site in which you could advertise, I'll have a look... To be honest i dont visit finance forums/sites. Ive started this off as a hobby and to hopefully earn a little extra cash. Ofcourse ive checked out the competition and found my ideas to be fairly unique. The sites ive seen though are quite bit and would obviously be too expensive to advertise on
Have a look in the link exchange section of this forum, or link sales. They would probably be your best bets. You aren't going to get much out of PPC for that budget, nor would it be worth it.
