We just launched BestForumFor.com a few days ago, it's a directory dedicated to finding the best forums for niche categories. It is free to list in and browse, and advertising is minimal. We only accept sites that have a forum or message board, however we may allow non-forum sites to sponsor categories in the future. We do not require a link back to us, but it would be wise to make a sticky thread on your forum encouraging your users to vote/rate/review your forum on our site.
