Does everyone build their accounts the same in every search engine? Do you have anything that is special with Yahoo? and why?
Nothing special really. Since the new structure is like Google it was easier to just mimic that setup for management reasons. Campaigns and groups are named the same across all 3 search CPC's (Google, Yahoo, MSN) as well as the keywords being in the same ad groups across the 3. Make it easy when jumping between them all trying to compare the same keyword and their performance.
Well now yahoo is similar to Google AdWords... earlier it was different.. even though I like that one too... as u have different ad copy for keywords. Ya but there wasn't much things called a/b testing of ads.. and all. It's good......... Yahoo is good.
Suppose advertisers are pretty much forced to mimic their Adwords account structure into both Adcenter and Yahoo Panama, as these 2 search engines have built their platforms so similar to Adwords. However, optimization can be slightly different on each of the search engines - at least on keyword selection, keyword match types, adcopy writing, pricing, etc.
It probably won't be forever, but right now you can send Yahoo! a bulk upload of your AdWords account and they can upload it directly to YSM. You just need to get the AdWords Editor and download your account into a csv. Give Yahoo! a call and they will tell you the next step.
Your account will be comprised of all your campaigns. Your campaigns will make up your new Sponsored Search account. Your account will still apply to one market only (i.e. the United States).1 To advertise in more than one market, you will need to have multiple accounts. Each account may contain up to 20 campaigns.
