    Personally i find this plugin pretty advanced http://shopplugin.net/
    You can buy add-ons for more payment providers and shipping handlers, depending on your needs.

    You're better off using the WP e-Commerce Plugin. Next year the book is being published and it was used by wordcamp.org to sell tickets to WordCamp NewYork.

    If its that good. Its good enough for most people including you.
