I am trying backupwordpress, but I haven't reuploaded it yet, so I don't know how well this one works!
Just google for it and you would get the link for it. I presume there is really just one version of Wp-db-backup....there are just different places to download it from....correct me if I am wrong.. Regards, RightMan
I've used that plugin to backup but till now never re-uploaded it. So you need to get first hand experience.
WordPress Database Backup (ilfilosofo.com/blog/wp-db-backup) will backup all of your tables used by Wordpress. But there is a setting page where you can choose which tables you want to backup.
WP DB backup plugin gives 404 error when I try to backup! It depends on the theme that's used and other plugins, but I just do not like it anymore!
There's a paid backup plugin that does a good job! It is called "Backup Buddy" http://pluginbuddy.com/purchase/backupbuddy/ (not affiliate link)
try AtContent plugin - it allows you to store your content in the cloud. Even if your site will be crashed - your content will be saved.

I use wptwin and has worked really well for me. I purchased it when it first launched and it was much cheaper... today it's going for a hefty price and would probably use a different solution.
Rather than a plugin I use a multiple wordpress install manager called infinite wp which has an extension to back up your sites with. Faster than configuring a plugin on each wordpress install. Other tools like managewp can do the same.
