same problem, i looking for best adsense plugins that automatically insert adsense code to my post. i try to follow all link that is post in this thread, thanks for the info.
i use quick adsense, easy of use, you can put it below title, middle of post, and at the end of post. also can be added as a widget at sidebar
Another vote for Quick Adsense. It's the best plugin I've tried so far, much better than manual. The dev doesn't force you for donation nor "hidden revenue share" gonna trap you, so I would love to vouch the plugin here, and every where.
