Hi guys, I want to make part of my site only available to those who register, like premium content and the use of my online apps etc. I like the look of PrivateContent as I love CodeCanyon stuff, but it doesn't seem as though the users can actually register themselves in to groups, rather it's the admin who choose who goes where. What Plugin do you suggest? It would be great if there was one that allowed different levels of members, maybe one that takes care of paypal registrations too? but not important as I probably won't be charging at this stage... for example:- Basic - Free and non registered Intermediate - Registered but still Free Premium - Paid Registration Thanks DP!
for manual => 1. put on your header.php => if( is_user_logged_in() ){ *** continue to sites *** } else { *** redirect to register page *** } 2. you can install plugin for register maybe like that
You can try following membership site plugins : http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/membership/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-members/
Checkout DigitalAccessPass.com (DAP) for what it's worth. It protects WordPress content, as well as HTML pages, and even PHP apps. And you can also optionally accept payments through a large list of payment processors, including Paypal. Or make the registration free. Totally up to you how you slice-and-dice your content or access to your apps or plugins. Hope this helps. - Ravi Jayagopal Founder & Co-Developer, DAP
