    Hello Friends

I am an entrepreneur and have lately developed a new web directory of best websites on web.

We have categorized the use of web in broadly 30 categories and would plan to expand them soon. Please suggest what all categories we can add in more to make it a total comprehensible directory of best websites.

The link of the Web Directory is : www.gajeebo.com

    Thanks

WallaceYeung: That's rather rude. He is just announcing a directory in wrong section. And it's not opening either :)

An entrepreneur sets the pace and does not follow the sheep, just spend some time looking at and researching as many similar related directories as you can, then from that expand and develop your own style.

wishing you well with your venture.

Can you create a category 'Real Estate' ?

I think it is better to work with sub categories as well.
    Thanks

Entrepreneur, doesn't visit a forum and then say "I am an entrepreneur"

Good luck with your directory though.

Yeah i know this entrepreneur thing sounds odd.. but actually i have heard that if you go in a forum and just inform about your links that is banned.. so thought of introducing myself..

anyways.. we are plannin to do an online survey abt the categories to be added in our directory,..
i have visited many directories alll work on DMOZ as base, which I think is a very same old fashioned concept.. i wish to create some innovation and that's why thought of having reviews and ratings.. but the idea is not been caught by people.

i really dont know where i am lacking. i heard this forum has great experts discussions. so planned to post here...
    i really need some mentoring..

Well, this isn't the category topic for introductions:rolleyes:

HAHAHA. Good one. I like it.
Very well observed, and yes, it may well be a good idea.

According to whom? Consumer demand leads the market, and don't you forget it.

It does have some 'great' people here, but nobody's a real expert. I'd say on a broad scale of things I've only ever come across three or four people I'd even remotely class as being an 'expert' in their field.

Theres no experts here and anyone that calls themselves that have shut down their own brain to learning anything new.

You will find excerpts though ;) basically linkbait to really badly written blog posts.

I haven't see many web directories working like DMOZ thankfully, so i dont know what ones you have checked.

Might want to take a look at the Search Engine Optimisation topic, the two most prolific posters there are experts in their field, there's no denying that, and anyone that does just goes to show how naive some people can be. (No, this isn't another dig, I was already in on this thread.)
