Cubestat - Website Value Calculator This one is my favorite..!! Have you guys tried..? But one thing to remind you that the Websites value that you get is just a simply approximate..
i did paid appraisal of my domain and they give me an estimate at afternic. but i checked my site again on dnscoop.com and the calculated price is same as on paid afternic appraisal. so i think dnscoop is goo.
But these value calculators did work ? You can't even sell your site on there ratings and all . So better as a webmaster just post a website for review and ask people , how much it is worth of ? Regards
Each and every value calculator are wrong. One site shows me my website value is USD 39000$$$ . It makes me laugh. Another one showed me it is 10 $$. it also made me laugh. What a jokers.
All the right triggers are here but I'm not sure it's so linear or formulaic. People buy on gut instinct too so some good copy and proof of revenue can help sell for impressive multipliers.
Most of these website worth scripts are based on Alexa rank and based on that it does calculations. These scripts are more accurate for US/English websites because of techniques (cookies, their own web properties, toolbar) Alexa uses to determine its rank. Alexa adjusts its algorithm to some average numbers and how many people uses internet. So when most people are using toolbars to check PR/Alexa rank then Alexa rank does up very fast. This is the reason why most webmaster forums, SEO and other websites has so high Alexa. Too many people are using such webmaster related websites using Alexa toolbar and it its algorithm becomes no where near to being accurate. Since Alexa screws things up in the first place, website worth scripts are showing too optimistic valuation for SEO, webmaster related websites. This is something you should understand when checking website valuation and Alexa rank. My favorite website to check website valuation is http://mcjonline.com, it is similar to most website worth calculators but this one gives nice summary about website so you don't need to check endless graphics and other unnecessary information.
I was also going to say estibot.com, but someone beat me to it. But I agree that most of the automated site evaluators aren't worth much.
