    I use the Divi theme for all my sites. It's not free, but it does everything you will ever need...

    If you are willing to spend about $50-$60, you will be much happier with your end product and the amount of time you can save building your site. There are hundreds if not thousands of themes available at this cost that come with a number of paid plugins that can really enhance your website. Couple your good content with a good design and you will keep your readers come back!
