hi everyone hope someone is able to help me. Im wanting to build website that has a site builder integrated into it for customers to create their own sites. im looking to build a site similar to www.yola.com does anyone know of a site builder software that can be integrated in the way i want it to. and second abit of guidance in the way of attacking this project. i have good knowledge of html and css and fairly good understanding of php but ive never attempted a site like this before. thanks in advance.
I advise you to use ready-made templates, and there are a lot of these templates of similar design for yola.com thanks
the idea is to allow my customers to build their own free website as it will be impossible for me and unprofitable for me to build hundreds of free websites aswell as well as building for paying customers. thats why i need website builder that i can integrate into my website ive come across rvsitebuilder can it be done with this.
I think a ready to go software like wordpress should fullfil your requirements, for sitebuilder software, I can't recall any.
Also, if you have any questions about the PRESSFABRIC.COM sitebuilder, please let me know. I love to help with all questions.
I would love to use the pressfabric software but your buy now button does not work and I have emailed but no reply?
Why not use something like Softalicous which is built in to the cPanel software which most hosts use? It's a great software installer and has thousands of scripts built-in which you can install easily with just a couple of clicks. I highly recommend it.
I would recommend Wordpress for beginners. If you are unsure about how to install it, Just go for the hosts that offers quick installations plugins like Softaculous etc..
Maybe Artisteer will be great for you? Maker template that allow you create all kind of page. On the bktemplates.com you can see how look installation process and how look work with this builder tool.
You will need both these softwares: 1. Dreamweaver and 2. XAMPP. Dreamweaver would be useful for coding your site if you know that kind of stuff (CODING), while XAMPP will provide you with the best testing environment (with support for email, ftp:using filezilla e.t.c) for your site before getting it live on the internet.
Originally I used FrontPage 2003 for a few years(I like the preview tab) but more recently I've been using Dreamweaver and found it quite nice. If you are looking for a content management system however I'd recommend CMS Made Simple, can download for free and there are a ton of plugins etc. for any type of site you plan to make.
