I've been dealing with a company that is going to start offering web hosting. They are looking at various control panels so that they can have clients log into the administration part and be able to edit things as well as offer the ability to have resellers. The built in billing is a great feature! I've reviewed Plesk, cube panel, cpanel, hsphere, hosting controller, helm and some others. They all vary in price and have different features, some interesting and some I'm not sure would get a whole lot of use. My question is for anyone that has used them. What is your favorite? What do you find are the best unique features? What is easiest to use? I am gathering from HSphere that it can get a bit pricey and while it does offer a lot of features some of them just seem a bit much. Thanks
Cpanel for sure. Its fast and easy to use, allows lots of control and the fantastico is great. If you can afford it I'd recommend it everytime and if you are thinking about hosting clients it's even better!
Thanks a lot, I appreciate that... and any other comments anyone else has. I think I will have to give cpanel another more thorough look.
i choose cpanel also , if you decide to get a host with cpanel check if they have rvskin addon, and if they have don't sign up, imo rvskin sucks
My Recommend: cPanel or DirectAdmin for Linux Helm or Plesk for Windows Don't use Hosting Controller, bad choose
DirectAdmin is the best as far as i can say. It Light + Stable... Not like cPanel sends out a buggy builds and update every 2-3weeks.
I have used both DirectAdmin & cPanel for my clients. I prefer DirectAdmin, but the lack of Fantastico annoies me! HTH
There are many control panels... but I prefer HSphere, it is just amazing and easy and has an integrated billing system. Yes, It is costly...
I've used cPanel, Direct Admin and lxadmin. I prefer DirectAdmin the most. It's easy to use and doesn't take up as much resources as cpanel. About the Fantastico for cpanel, Direct Admin has Installatron for applications.
Well, if you want popular solution, then cPanel or DirectAdmin. But I'm currently using LxAdmin SSE on one of my servers and very impressed...cheap too
