    In wysiwyg editor dreamweaver is best but for designer psd, css, html experience is must.

    I just use Notepad, although I do sometimes use phpDesigner 2008. It's quite cool. When you type an opening tag, it automatically creates the closing tag, which saves loads of time. I've also got Dreamweaver, but I've never used it.

    Photoshop is the best software when it comes to designing websites and due to it's popularity, the ability to learn and expand our knowledge, thanks to millions of quality online tutorials, which makes it even more special compared to other not so popular softwares. When it comes to coding I use a normal text editor mostly unless I run into some problems. In which case I use either web developer toolbar or Dreamweaver just to make it right.

    Firstly, You should have an idea in your mind or the picture how your website looks like in PHOTOSHOP or other

    Then you should use dreamweaver for easy understanding of alignment

    I mean headings, bold text, sidebar

    What kind of website you want to design? Would it be having flash banner? If it will not be having any flash stuff in it then you should use Dreamweaver CS4. Its the best and the easiest tool to design your website structure. You can easily do the validations in it as well.
