I need to rank on page 1 for a few terms my website isn't established enough to rank for. I'm looking for websites I can use to get on page one for moderately competitive keywords. Here are some ways I know to do it, does anybody have any others they use? Article Directories (ezine, etc) Squidoo Hubpages Youtube Press Release Websites I'm not looking for SEO/link building tips, just websites whose domains are powerful enough to achieve first page rankings that I can make a keyword focused article/post/lens/whatever on. Hopefully we can build a killer list here. Thanks to anybody who can help!
Why do you need 1001 ways to bring traffic to your website when you can not follow even 1? Tip: All the above methods are good. Bonus Tip: Always search the forum before posting to avoid infractions.
Not sure where you got this from... I like to be thorough and wanted to make sure I'm not missing any good methods. I have time to follow a dozen methods, why limit myself to one? As for searching the forum first, if you know of a good list please feel free to share it. Even the "similar threads" coming up for this one are completely unrelated to my question. I don't believe there is a comprehensive list, but again if you know of one please feel free to share it.
You seem to have listed all the ones I know of. I would be more specific with the article ones i.e Triond, Bukisa, Ezinearticles, Article Base. I have seen Triond Rank #1 for a lot of competitive keywords. Are you trying to completely own the first page of your keywords with this list?
I'll have to check out Triond, I haven't heard of them before. Not necessarily, but that could be fun I guess. Most of the terms are too competitive to do that though. There are only a few weak antelope on each one.
How about Scribd? - When you make an article, do a pdf version, with live links, and upload to scribd Also, guest posts on decent blogs can work really well! - There are some sites setup to connect those wanting links, with those wanting guest posts - google 'guest posts' or something? - See what you can find
Great suggestions andrewbernes/mark watson. This is why I created this thread, I knew there were methods I was missing.
