I think you should make a site for your collection of work which means Portfolio! then setup a blog for latest updates using feed system of Blog you can spread out on Twitter and Facebook for more traffic and media exposure!

Do you have accounts in social networking sites, like facebook and myspace ? If yes, try to connect with peopl with the same niche and also create some groups and fan pages for your site.
Ya, I do and I am doing that. But needs things more profitable where we can get direct projects. Like bidding for projects, etc rather than something like this.
