1. Make webmasters "think" a software tool can so something they can't do themselves. 2. Take peoples money with little effort. 3. Create a false sense of security. 4. Market themselves well. Ok so those aren't special.... but I tried
Even though Linkscape only shows partial backlinks for a website I prefer it over others. The reason is because they at least rank them by mozRank and mozTrust, two scoring metrics I know Rand and other SEOmoz employees have put much time into developing. Definitely worth the $70/mo. for this tool alone. We use it to drop in 5 to 8 competitors for a client website then pull the first, most important backlinks they have according to mozRank/mozTrust, then go after those links as they are already providing the competitors a lot of value. This works like a charm
lol........ I don't trust any tools since none of them know what Google scores... I just get sites to top positions..... tools be damned..... Its worked for the last 5 years
I still prefer to use Google WMT beside Yahoo Search Explorer it's free and accurate for most of the times
