Hey guys, I'm also trying to get more fans for our Facebook page. It's really difficult, growing slowly. Are there any fast ways?

I just add mass amounts of friends in similar interests on facebook and then send the invite, works pretty well imo.

You can pay for them, but a lot of restrictions are in place now, for example most sellers have mailing lists/friends lists whom they spam with your page link and asking them to join, these lists are now restricted and even the best of the best promoters are now struggling to provide fans and likes... I have learnt the hard way on freelancer - where i have several hundred dollars locked in escrow waiting for projects to be completed... they provide some but not a lot of likes.

Shorttask is also ok as you can pay 5cents for ppl to join your group/page etc.

The others whom still provide likes have fake accounts, made up of 1000s of their own accounts and their workers accounts... they will simply pay their workers to log into these fake accounts and like your page/group... hence you end up with 1000s of spam accounts liking your page and these also get banned from facebook as shit accounts... hence you loose likes... and facebook will see you on all these pages (suspect dodgy group or page?).

Just be careful, the best way I have found to get likes and fans is to buy some large pages already established and cross promote.

The average rate is 5cents per like or fan... up to 20cents for USA likes...

Try to promote the page like you would your own sites, seo and links in, create keyword campaigns in your page, like fill your discussions with useful and popular articles.

Images also work well... as they have to like your page to view them...

In what context? how do you want to advertise it? on FB you pay 10-20 cents per click (minimum) or alternatively for a page they display a like button under your ad (on FB) and members can like your page directly from the ad' displayed on side of FB, so for a like you can pay 10-20 cents - although you will loose some cash/clicks when they visit your page and leave (without liking it).

In one example I have employed a FB like guru and he has taken over a month now to send 1000 likes/fans... he is one of the last getting around on Freelancer that is authentic, the best gurus are bogged down and take on way to many projects... they rely on the page/group to grow by itself and take the credit for it. The growth appens naturally after you have several hundred fans.

Maybe running a competition with http://www.wildfireapp.com/pricing... seems to be the way to go... it's legit and for the price of an iPhone and a campaign you can have 1000s of fans.

Try to promote your fan page by posting links on various forums , blog commenting can also benefit you in this.

Use FBML and create more attractive fan page so that visitors come and click on your product and services Take example of this one :
    facebook.com/pages/Windows-Password-recovery-Software/117078564972878?v=app_4949752878

I don't think spamming forums has been mentioned yet - close with spamming blogs as mentioned above - obviously FBML "attractive" pages are not very effective as you only have 40 fans (I guess one could argue that yours isn't attractive).

Depends how much you spend, for instance I just grabbed a eWhore account with 6000 friends and a page with 3.5k fans for under $100, the account well you can spam friends I guess, but I just use that account to live my fantasy as a woman and lead on guys (LoL Joking)... I update the account like a chick would and then like my pages/sites/posts-on-pages... that way the lads follow the eWhores lead and spam shit for me!! The fan page is mainly USA residents/fans... but although it sounds like a good marketing plan - it's not that great.

    Here's what I get:

So not a lot really, I may get 2 leads per day, $3 worth of leads. Is it worth the effort or the costs? well it costs me nothing to advertise and I make $100 a month from that one page...

    No... I don't buy ad's... I bought a eWhore/female account with 6000 friends & a page with 3.5k fans for under $100 - that's freaking cheap. I don't think you understand what I am saying.

When I post on my page daily this is what I get:

Competitions are a good idea, but even then it's hard to get any interest. We're running our first FB fan page contest and it's VERY slow. Still only one participant after almost 12 hours. And that's even with a cool custom viral contest script.

    techiezine.com/free-contest-win-a-pro-pagemodo-membership

I think it takes lots of money to get a fan page to grow like wildfire?
