    No,u dont need credit card.
They will ask u to verify ur identity,u will also be asked the source of money, like what service u provided,do u pay tax and all that...

Yes,Wire transfer is good option with some fees.

I didnt see anyone talking about the charges from the receiving bank. Make sure you check with your bank. A little shopping probably would save you around 25$. I have seen some banks charge even 40$. Another hidden charge would be the intermediary bank charges. This is how the process works (I could be wrong in your cases but I have experienced this first hand many times.

    1. sender uses Bank A to send you $5000.
    2. Bank A either has a partner bank at destination to deliver the payment or uses another bank. If they have a partner, your cost is minimum but if they dont, then
    3. Bank B also slaps its charges on destination bank
    4. Since destination bank gets charged, they will charge your money for their fees.

Think of this transfer as a pie and everyone wants to have a share in this pie.

Besides shopping around, you need to ask the sender about his sending bank partners in your country and whether can directly deposit the money into your bank account.

This is your first time, so you have to learn how this process works and you cannot learn this unless you go through this process. Give it a try and once you learn something, please make sure you report this back to users.

One other option you have is to ask the sender to pay all expenses for the transfer so that you can get the exact amount sent to you. This sending charge could be deducted from the total before its sent or could be paid for by the sender.

    All the best

I'm doing my grad. in Law, and I know that $1667 is way above the limit to be sending IF you don't want the Income Tax Authorities to be notified AND the person receiving it will need a PAN card.

To avoid ALL these problems pm me, for the solution.....

In Ukraine you can get less then $3k at once (not sure how many times) without bank reporting to taxmens or at least they will not register such operation via bank. So I reccomend you to discover rules of such transactions and go for WU.

P.S. WU is expensive for low sums, for bigger not at all comparing with size of order. And as I said very good for "under the table" operations, lol

iwarrior003, please stop speaking from your ass!

Hey aren't you the same guy who has been banned from DP four times under bapun,lord_daksh,Mobifriendz.org. It is a crying shame that you never learn and mend your ways despite being banned over and over again. I wish I could tell your client all about you so that he doesn't have to put up with a $5k loss

    1) Western Union :
Pros: Fast , will receive payment in an hour
Con: Expensive, cant receive payment over $2000 in 1 go, and any payment
over Rs 50,000 will be made by check and the Income tax will be notified.

    2) Paypal:
Pros: They now deposit directly into Indian banks

    3) Xoom:
Pros: Fast, 1 day transfer. low fees, and get cash
Con: wait for 4- 5 hrs at PNB while they process the transaction

    4) GAF: They have a prepaid credit card you cna heave the client load up for
you, cost is approx $20 , but you can with draw the $ form any ATM
    immediately.

    Hope this helps

Use paypal atleast your protected. And why do you even bother to send money to India? Just some heads up guys, if I were you I will stop dealing with Indians. I HAVE QUITE A FEW VERY BAD EXPERIENCES WITH THEM. Now I won't mention the "S" word coz I know I will be offending some Indians in this forum.

I have come to a point where I will never ever in my entire online life ever have to deal with Indians ever!

A totally racist comment, generalizing all of India, and it's people, and then you say, you wont mention some word so as not to offend Idians?
